What a day! On July 21st the Foundation held a youth tennis clinic at Doylestown Tennis Club for over 100 youth from “Philly KiDZ Initiative”. With the help of our volunteers and the club’s donation of courts and coaches, the event was a huge success.
Children from K thru 5th grades were treated to on-court instruction, off-court activities, tennis videos by Ryan Reidy of 2Minute Tennis, and a pizza party. The day ended with an amazing Magic Show by Bill Kerwood. Everyone left with a smile, a certificate of achievement, and an activity book.
Thank you — The camp T-shirts and medical staff were provided by True North Pediatrics. Pizza for all was supplied by Middle States Tennis Association (MSTA), a division of the USTA, as well as
tennis equipment for the Philly KiDZ organization’s use at their facility. Wegmans provided water and all paper products. We want to thank Jim Klein, everyone at the Doylestown Tennis Club and our amazing volunteers for making this happen.
