Mia with older sister, Gwyneth
September 19, 2025 — We are thrilled to announce our newest Scholarship recipient, Mia, the younger sister of scholar-athlete Gwyneth. Mia began playing tennis at just 4 years old and has continued to develop her skills through top-level training, including programs at IMG Academy.
Mia with MTF board member, Mark Klein
Now 13, Mia is already competing in USTA statewide tournaments and embracing every moment of the journey—especially the opportunity to travel for competitions, which she says she loves. A strong student, her favorite subject is language arts, and she balances her academic and tennis success with a love for volleyball and track as well.
In 2024, Mia received the prestigious Middle States Girls’ Sportsmanship Award, a testament not only to her athletic ability but also to her character, integrity, and respect for the game.
Congratulations, Mia! We are proud to support you as you continue to grow on and off the court.
