Smiling Scholarship Recipient

My mom enrolled me in tennis lessons when I was six years old. I was not sure I would like it, but I started going to classes and started liking it. Some of my friends were also taking lessons and some were very good. This got me interested to learn more and do better.

I want to continue learning tennis. As I practice and grow stronger I know I will get better. Tennis challenges me. It cheers me up, makes my day go better and makes me happy. If one is happy, then they want to do better at studies and everything else in life. Thank you for the opportunity to continue enjoying and learning my favorite sport.

With her wonderful spirit and positive attitude Avnika is a great example to all youth. We look forward to helping her achieve her goals.
